Delayed flight
When arriving more than 3 hours later than expected at the final destination on a flight within EU or if the flight is operated by a European airline and starts or ends within EU.

Cancelled flight
When arriving more than 2 hours later than expected at the final destination (by way of-derouting), unless you were notified of the cancellation at least 14 days prior to departure.

Under EU Regulation 261/2004, passengers are entitled to up to €600 in compensation per person, depending on the flight distance and the duration of the delay. The rates are fixed:

€250 if the delay is more than 3 hours on a flight of up to 1500 kilometres
€400 if the delay is more than 3 hours on a flight of 1501 - 3500 kilometres
€600 if the delay is more than 4 hours on a flight of more than 3500 kilometres

The processing time for claims varies, as it depends on a range of factors. In general, approximately 50% of all claims is resolved within 2 months from when we have sent your claim to the airline. 40% of cases is resolved within 3-8 months, and the remaining 10% can take up to 2 years.

Yes, PaxFour is GDPR compliant. The data received from you includes personally identifiable information. When you enter into an agreement with PaxFour, you sign a Data Processing Agreement which regulates how and when PaxFour can use your data. In this agreement, PaxFour acknowledge our responsibility for any personal data we may process. This secures your rights and ensures that your personal data is kept safely.
